At Classico Autocare, we’ve always believed that detailing is about more than just appearances. It’s about craftsmanship, care, and that unmistakable feeling you get when you open the door to a vehicle that’s been truly looked after. Whether you drive a daily workhorse, a weekend cruiser, or a dealership trade-in—we believe every vehicle deserves excellence.
If this is your first time landing on our blog, welcome. I’m Jeremy, the founder of Classico Autocare. What started as a $1,500 mobile setup and a hustle mindset in my final year of high school has since grown into one of Barrie’s most trusted detailing brands—now with a full-service shop in the south end, a mobile fleet, and a five-star reputation backed by our community and dealership partners like Audi Barrie, Barrie Nissan, and Honda.
Why We’re Writing
We’re launching this blog for the same reason we started Classico in the first place—to raise the bar.
We know detailing can be confusing. There’s a ton of misinformation out there, and many people simply don’t know what’s worth investing in or how to maintain their vehicle once it has been detailed.
We’ve heard your questions time and time again:
How often should I get my car detailed?
Is ceramic coating actually worth it?
What’s the difference between a detail and a regular wash?
How do I keep my car clean if I have kids… or a dog… or both?
This blog is here to answer those questions, and then some.
We’re not writing to sound fancy. We’re writing to serve—whether you’re a car lover, a busy parent, or just someone who wants their ride to look, smell, and feel incredible.

Let’s Answer a Few Questions Right Now
How often should I get my vehicle detailed?
It depends on how you use your vehicle, but for most people, a full interior and exterior detail every 3–4 months keeps the car in top condition. If you have pets, young kids, or a commute-heavy lifestyle, you may want to come in more often or stick to a maintenance plan in between.
Is ceramic coating actually worth it?
Absolutely—if you care about long-term protection and want to cut down on maintenance. Ceramic coatings offer a hydrophobic layer that resists water spots, makes cleaning easier, and helps preserve your paint over time. It’s not magic, but it is powerful when installed and maintained properly.
What can I do to keep my car clean in between details?
A few simple habits go a long way:
Avoid eating in the car (when possible)
Keep a small bin or bag for garbage
Use a microfiber towel once a week to wipe down touchpoints
Invest in rubber floor mats (especially for Canadian winters)
Schedule quick interior refreshes every 4–6 weeks
We’ll cover all of this in more detail in future posts.
Integrity First. Always.
At the heart of Classico Autocare is a simple promise: to serve with excellence and integrity. From day one, we’ve been committed to doing things the right way—whether it’s the small stuff you’ll never notice, or the big results you’ll never forget.
This blog is one more way we’re doubling down on that promise. To educate. To add value. To treat you, and your vehicle, with care and respect.
Thanks for riding with us. We can’t wait to keep sharing what we’ve learned along the way.
